HK 16-20 Feb 2011

Many first times on this trip - 1st time I took A380 to HK and back, 1st time walking on the streets of HK all by myself, 1st time ever realising that yes, I can live in this country on my own!

I have always loved HK. It has to do with my roots. I know the language and their way of life is something I can always easily adapt to. Walking alone in HK made me feel like I was back in Shanghai again - all on my own. It's been a while since I last explored a country on my own. Sometimes I do miss those days..

Anyway, the weather in HK was absolutely fantastic at 13 degree celsius everyday! All I needed was a jacket and I never had to perspire. Definitely not cold by my standards though almost all the HK people I know or heard talking on the streets were complaining that it was cold. I was loving it!

Shopped and ate, shopped and ate! Ate soooo much from the minute I arrived til the very last day that I knew I put on weight even while I was there. No complains though - that's what u're supposed to do when u travel right?

No pics taken on this trip as HK is a place where I go to almost every year, sometimes even twice a year. Looking forward to more trips for this year though going back to work today meant clearing back logs from the days when I was out of office. I still wanna travel as much as I can. :)
