Hong Kong
Feeling lazy so I'll only write in point form what I did for my trip. Hehe. Lazy me..
14 Feb8.30am to 3pm - Work
4pm - Reached home and sent emails to my dear and a few other colleagues reminding them of what to do before I leave for the airport.
5pm - My uncle picked me up and I realised I forgot to bring my jacket after waiting for him for 10 mins.
5.20pm - Reached Changi Airport Terminal 2. Checked in and started shopping at duty-free.
7pm - Start of my journey!! Boarded the plane. It's been a decade since I last took a Singapore Airlines flight! Everything's different now!! Watched "Elizabeth Town" from the in-flight movies selection and played some games, waiting for the plane to reach.
10.30pm - Arrival at Hong Kong International Airport! Took a van to Ann's friend's (Helen) place. We were to stay at her mum's place as her mum was in Shanghai. The place is near Lam Tin though I've forgotten the actual name of the place. It's sorta like a condo and it was quite spacious! 1 of the bigger houses that Hong Kong has to offer.
1am - Bedtime!
15 Feb9.30am - Left the house and went to 1 of the cafes at Lam Tin MTR station for breakfast. Bought some groceries and headed back to put them down.
11am - Took the train to Central. We've got to change 3 trains before we arrived. The MTR station's air-conditioning was not on. Boy, did I feel hot!
12pm - Arrived at Central. Went to Yung Kee Restaurant for lunch with Helen. They supposedly have the best roast goose in Hong Kong.
2pm - Lunch ended. Walked around Central and came across Tai Cheung where they have the best egg tarts in Hong Kong. It's simply delicious!!!! I'm not a big fan of egg tarts but I totally love it!! Will love to eat them again!
4pm - Shopped around Central and had dessert at Sai Kung Man Ji branch (Honeymoon Dessert Store).
5pm - Took the train to Tai Gu and walked around the mall with Ann while Jac went to meet her colleague.
7pm - Met up with our Hong Kong relatives and had dinner at Cui Jing Xuan Restaurant (Jade Restaurant).
9pm - Took a cab to Victoria's Peak. I love it there coz the view is really beautiful.
11pm - Headed home.
1am - Bedtime!
16 Feb9.30am - Had breakfast at Lam Tin Da Man Guan Cafe (Wonderfood Cafe).
10.15am - Headed to Tong Luo Wan (Clearwater Bay) for shopping!
1.30pm - Lunch at Li Yuan Zou Mian where we had porridge. They have different varieties of porridge and it's really interesting to see what they have. Treated Ann and Jac to thank them for bringing me on the trip and for using their mileage to change for my air ticket.
4pm - Tea break at Times Square Da Jia Le (Cafe de Coral) and went for curry fishball by the roadside.
6pm - Went to Fat Angelo's at Central for dinner with Helen. Decided to go early as we were really tired. Waited for Helen to knock off work til 7pm. The place had very nice decoration and lots of Caucasians dine there. Food was served in huge portions and they taste good too!
10pm - Home sweet home
12am - Bedtime!
17 Feb9am - Breakfast at Lam Tin Wonderfood Cafe again.
10am - Went to various temples to pray. Travelled a lot and finished praying at 2pm.
3pm - Tea break at a teahouse at Tsim Sha Tsui that Ann and I decided to walk into after shopping at Kowloon and Jordan. We were already starving by then! Jac went home after praying to bathe as she wanted to go back to office later on. Ann and I went on shopping after tea break. :)
7.15pm - Dinner with Ann's ex-colleagues at Tsim Sha Tsui Rice Paper, a restaurant that serves Vietnamese food. Her ex-colleagues include Honda, Joe, Tay, Brenda and Wharton. Jac joined us in the end as her friend was sick.
10pm - Dessert at an unknown place that I can't remember.
11pm - Lan Kwai Fung for drinks. Brenda and Wharton joined us. Honda wanted to join us too but he was sneezing very badly and having a bad flu.
1am - Home.
2am - Bedtime!
18 Feb10am - Tsim Sha Tsui Dao Xiang (Tao Heung) Restaurant for dim sum breakfast.
3.30pm - Afternoon tea at an unknown teahouse after shopping at Wan Zai.
6pm - Dinner at Hon Po Palace Restaurant with my relatives.
9pm - Went to Ladies Market to shop. It's a bigger version of Pasar Malam (night market) that Singapore has.
11.30pm - Break cum supper at Saint Alps Teahouse.
1am - Home sweet home. Packed our luggage til 2.30am.
3am - Bedtime at long last!
19 Feb11am - Brunch at Lam Tin Imperial Kitchen for Pekingese and Shanghainese cuisine with Helen.
Shopped at the small shops of Lam Tin MTR station and headed home after buying dessert from
Xu Liu San (Hui Lau Shan).
2.45pm - Headed to the airport and went to Mei Xin Ge (Maxim's Chinese Restaurant) for more dim sum and dessert with my relatives.
6.30pm - On the flight back.
11pm - Back in Singapore. End of my journey. Sighz.. Back to work on 20 Feb.
There's the report on my journey. Nothing much actually. Pics can be viewed
here. Pics are not very well taken though.
Fell sick on 21 Feb but am gradually recovering. Just hope that I'll recover totally soon. :) Think I better go sleep soon. Nitez!

5 mins..
I'll be leaving for the airport in 5 mins and I decided to write a short post before I go.
My supervisor's got promoted which means she 's not leaving the company. Sad news.. No choice. There's nothing I can do. Told my boss how I felt coz she asked me about my feelings. Told her everything.. My unhappiness and the rest of the colleagues' feelings. Not sure if it's the right thing to do but I felt that we shouldn't be suffering in silence anymore. My boss is a nice person and I know she thinks well of me. In order for me to continue on a good note, I had to do it. :p
Anyway, I got to log off soon. I'm gonna miss my baby lots! To be leaving on Valentine's Day, honestly, it's kinda saddening.. Baby, pls take care of urself while I'm away. I'll be thinking of u and missing u lots for the next 5 days. Do ur best at work and enjoy urself with ur friends k? Wanna say "I love u" on this special day. I'll be back soon.. :) *HUGS*

Weekend
Weekend's come and gone... Ever so quickly. Sighz.. Today marks the last day of Chinese New Year and to conclude, I had lo hei for 10 times this year. Haha. It's such an incredible number that it sounds exaggerated. Counting my 10 times:
(1) With Stef, Eevon n Jean at Geylang "No Signboard" restaurant
(2) With my department people for Chinese New Year lunch
(3), (4) & (5) At my aunt's place on the 2nd & 3rd day of Chinese New Year
(6) At Carissa's place
(7) At my aunt's place on the 7th day of Chinese New Year
(8) At lunch with dealers
(9) At SCOO dialogue
(10) At my cousin's place just now
So that's my 10 times in total. Amazing ehz? Haha. Anyway, I have yet to open the red packets that I collected for this new year. I know most people have already opened theirs, but I like to wait til the 15 days of Chinese New Year is over before I open them. Haha.
Flying to Hong Kong in 2 days' time, but I've yet to pack my luggage. Haha. I'm bound to panic tomorrow but I'm simply too lazy and tired to move. I'm enjoying lying on my bed, listening to my mp3 and typing my blog to wanna move. :p I'll just have to come home earlier tomorrow from work and start packing. Sighz.. Think I'm gonna miss my baby again though I know I'll enjoy my trip.
Talking about my dear.. We wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day yesterday as I won't be in town for the day. In the end, we only had time to go Orchard to buy socks for my trip and to collect my voucher. He bought me a bouquet of roses after almost 3 years of non-receipt of flowers. Felt good to finally receive flowers from my love. We also bought a new pair of rings. That's my third ring from my dear. Haha. Anyway, here's a pic of the flowers that he gave me.
Irvin's flying off to London tonight for 3 months for training and work. Wish I can do that too although I know I'll definitely miss my baby like crazy. But it's a good opportunity to learn and gain experience. Did some survey recently and I put in the survey form that I don't mind travelling regional and working overseas. Hope I get some good opportunities knocking on my door soon but I'll definitely be fussy over where I'm posted to. Haha.
Ok.. Gonna end now. Wanna play some games before I knock out til tomorrow morning for work. Guess the next time I blog will be when I'm back from Hong Kong. :) Don't miss me too much folks! Haha.

Leaving soon..
Chinese New Year is almost coming to an end but I'll still be going visiting tomorrow after work. Not really willing to go visiting tomorrow as I'll be going to my supervisor's place and most of the people in my department are not going. Why is that so? For a simple reason that she has gotten on the nerves of almost everyone in the department with her lousy attitude and her fantastic stint of pushing accusations and blames to everyone else except herself. So, I think there're only about 4 of us who will be going to her place tomorrow. Sighz.. And she stays all the way in the east. Going home will definitely cost me a bomb if I take a cab and if I take a bus or MRT, it's gonna take me more than an hour. Somebody kill me pls!
Went to Carissa's place and Christine's place for visiting. I love Carissa's daughter. She's so cute and the funny thing is, she likes me a lot too! She was stuck to me the whole time I was at Carissa's house and she even told Carissa that she misses me yesterday. So sweet! I miss her a lot too actually. See the picture that we took! Hehe. Anyway, there’s good news from Christine. She’s pregnant!! YAY!! She’s been wanting to have a child of her own and she’s finally got her wish. Think this year will be a good one for her coz she just got promoted as well. :)
Been working late everyday ever since I went back to her after Chinese New Year. Been at work for about 12 hours a day and it’s tiring. Wonder why I’ve been having so much work recently. Nowadays, it’s always Jeremy, Tom and I who will be the last to leave. Sighz.. I’m ok about it but the 2 guys are definitely not happy about it. Guess we have different mindsets at different age. For me, I feel that this is the time for me to work hard for my career and I’m willing to work overseas but for the 2 of the time, they wanna have more personal time. Guess everybody is subject to their own opinions and thinking.
Tom's not enjoying himself at work at all. He's been getting into trouble though sometimes it's not totally his fault. Guess that's no excuse. Just have to make sure that you really do your work properly and try not to get into trouble. Have to be careful when doing your work. That's all I can say. Been trying to help him as much as I can. We've had some minor arguments and tiffs at work but I guess maybe I have higher expectations from him coz he's my bf. Always feel that he should be able to understand what I'm thinking. Guess I need to change.
Had SCOO dialogue today. The HR head joined us.. I only know that he's called Matt. All I can say is that, he is really HANDSOME!! Haha. Almost all the ladies there, including me, were oogling at him. It wasn't the first time that I saw him. The first time was at Shanghai Night when he danced on stage. Ooohhh.. So charming! :p
Valentine's Day is coming but yet, I won't be celebrating with Tom this year. How sad! I'll be flying off to Hong Kong with Jacqueline and Ann (my cousins) at 7pm on Valentine's Day and I'll only be back on 19 Feb. I need a break from work and it's the first time I'm travelling with my cousins and no adults. :) Am totally looking forward to the trip!! But I'm wondering if I'll be getting flowers this year. It's been 3 years since I last received any flowers from anyone. Sighz.. The sad unromantic life that I lead. Haha.
Time to end.. Tom is waiting for me to finish blogging so that I can call him and he can sleep. Haha. Poor thing.. Keeps asking if I'm done blogging thro' MSN. Hehe. Okies. Here I come dear... Nitez all and I think the next time I blog will be after my trip (unless I have time to blog on Saturday or Sunday). We'll see how things go~!
