3 Whole Years.. Of Nothingness..
It was a weekend where I was sick.. Vomitting even when all I did was drink water. Very very tiring.. Caused Eeyore and I to be unable to go to KL for his dad's bday. I feel bad.. Really really bad. :( Sighz...
Thankfully Eeyore was around. All I could do was vomit and sleep. Poor Eeyore had to go hungry too. Oopsss.. He was so worried by night time that he was doing all he could to make me feel better. Very touched.. :)
Got my bonus and increment on Friday (22 Jan 2010). Nothing to be happy about. Worked for 3 years in this dept.. Yet all I get is still shit. The numbers are crap.. And to top it off, I didn't get promoted. 3 whole years.. I slog my ass off for this dept, I hardly take medical leave unless it's really a serious case where I can't go to work. 3 whole years.. All for nothing. Yes, I know I'm dispensable in this dept. I'm seriously wondering why I still bother working so hard..
A Wonderful Lunch Surprise
14 Jan 2010 - A significant date.. Coz it's the 1st time that Eeyore met me for lunch. He cabbed all the way from Centennial Tower to Changi Business Park jus to have lunch with me and cabbed back to office after dropping me off. :) I was truly touched and felt blessed.
Talked to 2 friends yesterday and today. 1 friend said that it didn't matter if he doesn't remember my bday as long as Eeyore remembers coz that's the most important. The other friend said that he hasn't called me for a week coz he was ashamed of himself for forgetting my bday before he went back to India for 2 weeks.
Not that my bday is a very important event coz even I don't think it is. I am glad that my friends remember and of coz, I appreciate the friend who said he was ashamed of himself for forgetting. :)
Anyway, Eeyore has been doing things that have been very unexpected, such as travelling all the way for lunch with me, watching my HK drama with me when he totally doesn't understand the show nor the language and becoming very interested in it. We've been doing so many things together like playing games, watching tv, etc etc. Finding common interests and being involved in each other's lives is making us closer. ^.^ And I'm glad about it.
The show we watched is called "The Realm of Consciousness". In the show, the main lead actress's name is Sam Ho, signifying do good deeds, say good things and think good thoughts. That's my New Year resolution for this year! :)
My Bday 2009
I normally do a year's review but I'm too tired to do it for 2009. And seriously, it flew by too fast for me to even remember what happened throughout the year except for some significant events. But then again.. Never mind. Let's start 2010 afresh! :)
29 Dec 2009 - Had a surprise dinner celebration with my department! ^.^ Very very touched!!! Quite unexpected coz I was expecting a surprise lunch and not a surprise dinner! :) Ate at Shin Kushiya @ Suntec and had sake! Proceeded to Balaclava where I had to down Flaming Lamborghini and lots of some whisky that had 46% alcohol! Was a good celebration nonetheless! Very very happy!

My bday was spoilt in the morning with an argument with Eeyore. It was bad.. And I cried on my own bday. :( To add insults to injury, my colleagues were surprised that I did not receive any flowers at all for my bday. Sighz.. It was all made up for when I spent the rest of the day after work at Ky's place.
I was surprised by Ky with a self-made peanut butter cookie dessert and Eeyore bought me a cake from Awfully Chocolate. :) It was a 3D2N stay at Ky's place and the endless booze 24/7, food and games jus made everything seem right again. Maybe it was the intoxication! Haha.
Came home on 02 Jan 2010. Showered and went for dinner with Bee, Felix and Lynnie at Jumbo Seafood @ East Coast. :) Had chilli crab, butter crab, bamboo clams, drunken prawns, garlic stir-fried dou miao and golden phoenix chicken. Bee brought a bottle of Riesling and it was the 5th consecutive day of drinking! WOOHOO!!! ;p Thanks for the bday dinner!!
Today (03 Jan 2010), Eeyore and I wanted to catch "Sherlock Holmes" but we went out late. Walked around the new shopping mall - 313 @ Somerset instead. Had my favourite Cold Rock ice cream and bought 2 jackets at UniQlo. :D Drove to Swissotel Clarke Quay for dinner and ate at an Al Fresco restaurant -

After dinner, we headed to
Jazz@Southbridge for more alcohol & some live jazz music. The music was ok but not as good as what we expected. But what matters most is the company and I had great fun and a wonderful bday celebration! :p
As always, there will be people who forget my bday but I realise that it doesn't matter anymore. Coz the people who truly love me as friends will always remember and it is more than enough! :) Thanks all for the bday celebrations, the well wishes and everything else you have given to me in my life thus far! I truly, really appreciate it and I'm thankful for your friendships and love!
