Hearts Addict
Did nothing the whole day. Simply lazed at home, playing Hearts, watching TV and packing my room. Played Hearts the whole day. I must be mad.

Work was ok. Getting there somehow. I have to. Gotta push myself harder next week. I will do my best!
Vivo after work. Bought Kiehl's Creme de Corps for my skin. Freaking expensive! But if it works, I don't mind spending a bit more. Bought the limited edition cranberry lip balm as well. Smells too good to resist. Hehehe.
Then bought Rosken's lotion with Vitamin E. Smells nice and supposedly good for my skin too. The rash on my skin these days is sooo horrendous that I shudder at my own reflection and when I look at my own hands and legs. Awful!!!
Watched "Body of Lies" at 9pm. Show's good but.. I was really really too tired.. I fell asleep for about 20 mins during the show. Sighz.. I tried my hardest to keep my eyes open but really couldn't. Been sleepy the whole day, especially with the swollen eyes. It's really hard.. Cabbed home, showered, took ultra drowsy medicine for my itch and slept immediately.
Saturday (29 Nov 2008)Woke Eeyore up at 7am to catch the bus to KL. Continued sleeping. The medicine is super strong. :p Slept til 12+ when Winnie came to clean the house. Washed up, headed to Ann's place for lunch.
Fabio was sooo happy to see me that he kept licking my face!! Poor boy misses me after not seeing me for 2 whole weeks! Hehehe. I miss him too! Came home, met Shirleen (my new insurance agent) downstairs. Buying a new policy for retirement purposes. :)
Napped til Winnie was done. Showered, met Cher at Yishun. Took bus to Pasir Ris for Xavier's 1 year old bday. Saw my beloved little baby. Still as cute as ever! :p Stayed til 10+ then took a cab home with Cher.
Sleepy again... Think the medicine impact is still lingering though I'm starting to itch again. Hmmz.. Shall play a bit of game and sleep soon.

Madagascar 2
I think.. I have been away from work for too long. Took me the whole day to do 2 settlements! ARGH!!! But had quite a number of interruptions in between.. So I'm not that bad (Am I comforting myself or what?). :p
But I seriously prefer to have things to do at work then to be bored. It's sooo much better and time just flies. Hehe. 2 new deals today that none of us have seen the structure before. Will have to kill a lot of brain cells tomorrow.
Had to rush cab to Bishan coz I ended work at 7.45pm. Movie was at 8.45pm and I only left at 8pm. Cab driver was very very friendly and easy to talk to. Chatted with him the whole journey. About Dad being a cabby in the past, about his kids, my sis, work, etc. Enjoyed the journey a lot! :)
Had a quick Passion Waffle Delight at Haagen Dazs before the movie. Watched Madagascar 2. Finally!! Hehe. Been wanting to catch it since I heard that it was out. :D Pretty good but I prefer part 1.
Von babe, cheer up. U're a wayyyyyy cool gal and have always been a babe in my eyes. ^.^ *HUGZ*
Shuang, glad that things seem to be better now. Keep it up!!

Bali - 23 & 24 Nov 2008
Edit to 22 Nov: Menega Cafe's food is very delicious but be wary of flies. Tons of them!
2nd edit: Didn't manage to catch sunset at Ku De Ta due to the very cloudy weather. Still, it's a nice place to hang out.
Sunday (23 November 2008)
It was a day of sightseeing - 1st we went to a batik making factory.
Then it was straight on to Ubud Market where there are lots of things being sold!! A lot of trash on the floor too!
On the way to have lunch at the volcano area, our very wonderful driver stopped the car to let us take pics of rice fields!
Buffet lunch at volcano area. Food is only so so & it's tourist price aka quite expensive. But the view was breath taking! Was raining when we arrived and while eating, we were thinking that it's not possible to take pics of the scenery. But, the rain stopped jus as we were finishing and became really nice!
Our 1st class driver, Alit, from the villa even told us where is a good place to take pics from. :) That's him in the pic!
Travelled a lot the whole afternoon. Went back to hotel, rest for a while and it was time to go for our 90 mins spa. It was heavenly! Fell asleep for about 10 minutes but felt good. :p Soooo refreshed!!!

Monday (24 November 2008)
Woke up at 10am to have breakfast at the villa. Showered and it was downtown to Kuta Beach for my final tanning before heading to the airport. Did my manicure & pedicure plus 3 hennas - 2 on my back, 1 on my leg (rose).
Tanned for the next 2 hours after that then ate at 1 of the stalls. Local Bali roadside food! It tasted amazingly delicious! Had the Indonesian's fave tea from the bottle too!
Walked along the beach, enjoying the sunset.. Saw a cute little baby. :D
See my tan line? That's what 2 hours under the sun can do for u! Love my tan! That's me being cheeky with my french fry from Macs! ^.^
In office today, everybody exclaimed about my very red and burnt face. Hehehe. I don't care.. I still love my tan! Woohoo!!! They asked me which was better, Turkey or Bali. I love both places. This year's vacations and holidays that I have been to are absolutely fun and enjoyable!!! Soooo happy!! :)

Bali - 22 Nov 2008
I'm jealous!! The gals had dinner at Mandarin Oriental for Von's bday celebration and I'm not there!! Sobz!!!! :_( Wonder how much I've missed out... :(((((((((((((
1st day of Bali. As expected, I couldn't wake up. Hehe. Luckily I woke up just in time and Uncle Pat was a good driver. Hehe. Bali.. Fantastic! I'm trying to upload the pics to blogger but the server here is really slow. The villa is AWESOME! Absolutely gorgeous though it's in this really quiet place. But that's what makes it special. Away from town, from the noise and everything. Just pure quiet and peace. Love it! Especially the 4-poster bed that has been my dream bed since I was a little girl. Will definitely have a good sleep tonite. :p
1st thing I did after checking in, jump in to the pool that's right outside the room. Tanned for an hour, showered and headed to Jimbaran. Ate at Menega Cafe. Ordered a 2kg yellow fish grilled, 0.7kg of oysters grilled, sambal kang kong, rice, coconut juice, mixed fruit juice and a coke. Paying by credit card even gave us a 10% discount! So unexpected! Paid only about 100k rupiah which is about S$10 only!
Ku De Ta - very expensive and kinda classy place for foreigners (note: Westerners) to enjoy the sunset. I won't deny the fact that the place does look good. Ordered my beloved white wine Sangria for 2 and it came in this huge pitcher! Lotsa fruits!!! The nicest Sangria I've ever had!!! :) Woohoo!!!
Cabbed to Kuta, dinner at Made's Warung. Although I wasn't hungry at all, the mee goreng was sooooo superb that I finished more than half of it! :D Damn good!!! Ordered Thai Soup as well but was more spicy than anything and kinda salty too. Had a very droolworthy iced chocolate milk too!
Walked to Hard Rock Cafe - Bali. Along the way, there was an aromatheraphy shop called Sonia. Sells really beautiful stuff! Refrained from buying. Went to the Hard Rock Hotel instead of Hard Rock Cafe. Bought a top and some souvenirs. :) Came back to the villa and jumped into the pool once again.
Just had my shower. Will finish uploading the pics and head off to bed soon.. Tired~! Nitez!

Pre Bali
Lazed around the whole morning and afternoon despite the fact that I'm supposed to run my errands. Had the 1st sign of flu since yesterday afternoon so decided to jus laze til I felt better.
Finally moved my butt at 3pm. Took my time to prepare and watched Survivor on Channel 5. Haven't watched any TV shows for years!!! Still remember how I used to rush home jus to catch the reality shows on Channel 5 everyday. Hehehe. Time flies... I feel old.
Went to collect my contact lens and my specs lens which I broke while in Turkey. I can see clearly with my specs once again! Hehehe. All coz I was too careless.. :( Bought a new frame and asked Donny to make e a new pair of specs as well. :p Will be able to get them next week.
Had to go thro the trouble of taking bus then changing to train to get to City Hall. Dinner at Spagheddies. :) Had a MacDonald's Oreo McFlurry while waiting for dinner. I'm a pig.. Again. Was full but yet, managed to finish all the food! Hahaha.
Came back, packed my stuff. I'm becoming so paranoid and have a phobia that I will miss out on bringing things again. Shucks! I've been packing since 11pm and I still fear.. I've checked, double checked and tomorrow morning, I think I'm gonna triple check. ARGH!!! Must make sure I bring everything this time round. Uncle Pat's gonna send me to the airport. :p
Gonna sleep soon. Gotta be up at 4am just to be at the airport by 5am. And hopefully, I've packed everything. Don't even know if I can wake up in time.. Oh oh.. Hehehe.
Ann, Des & Von are clubbing tonite. They asked me along.. But I can't go coz I had to come home to pack and sleep early. :( Ann's at St James but I dunno which room she's in. Des's at DF. Hope he's having fun. Von's celebrating her bday but I dunno where she's clubbing at. Have a happy bday babe and enjoy yourself!! *HUGZ*

Bali Villa Pics
Another fruitful day of running errands. I think I'm learning to take buses quite well now. :) Been taking buses everywhere. Finally learning to be a good girl. Hahaha.
Lunch-ed at Soup Restaurant with Cher & Roy @ Suntec. Roy went back for lunch duty at 1pm and Cher & I walked around, chatting. Had a cup of frosty coffee from Ya Kun. :p After she went back to office, I went to look for MZ to pass him the souvenirs from Turkey.
Then took a bus to Bugis, walked to the temple to pray. 1st time I prayed alone. Never ever gone to the temple by myself before. :D I'm a big girl now. Hehe. Managed to stumble in the right direction and found the bus stop to take the bus to Gram's medicare centre. :)
Met Ann, Aunt Marg & Aunt Mic there. Changed Gram and brought her for her doc's appointment at TTSH. While at the food court, I suddenly recalled having lunch with Dad there once, sitting at the table opposite where I was today. I still remember what we both ate then and I missed Dad. :(
Sent Gram home, picked Uncle Charles up, went to Old Airport Road for dinner. Had prawn noodles, sambal stingray, satay, some char kway teow and sugar cane juice. Bought mango pomelo dessert and red date with fungus for dessert. Sent Aunt Mic home and she gave me hashima. Woohoo!!!!!!!!!
I'll have my desserts later. The pig me needs to take a nice shower, laze on my bed and watch my HK game shows. Hehehe. But I'm forced to pack my bags for my Bali trip today coz the fantastically smart me didn't bring $$ and saline to Turkey, didn't bring passport to go Batam. Everyone's afraid of me forgetting to bring stuff overseas again. Muahahahaha!
