KL, Cambodia & Cherating

It's been an awfully long time since I last wrote something on my blog. Hmmz.. What's going on with me? Maybe I just don't wanna keep updating about every single aspect of my life I guess.. Or maybe, I think I complain too much on my blog and I don't wanna complain so much anymore. Haha. Whatever the case, I'm sorry for the long absence..

So what have I been up to? Other than work, the last 1 week plus was finally spent on something more meaningful and more of getting a life. :) I spent it travelling. Not to very far away places as I had hoped for and wanted, I still enjoy travelling nonetheless. Before the travelling started, I had the opportunity to catch up and meet up with a lot of people, people whom I haven't seen/met for years.. Namely Ed gor, Stuart, HW, SK, Jarren, JM, Meng, Shuang, and a few others. :) Very pleased to have met up with everyone! It is always nice to catch up and chat. Oh, and since I have mentioned his name, lemme hereby wish MENG a blissful and happy marriage! :)

So, now it's more about myself. Travelled to KL on 12 Dec and played tennis the moment we arrived. Spent 13-16 Dec in Cambodia, Siem Reap. Saw lots of temples, walked helluva lot and even caught sunrise and sunset. With that, it means I barely slept 3 hours for at least 3 days and made me a tad grouchy esp on the 3rd day coz my time of the month came and the weather was hot, I was tired and suffering from cramps, muscle aches (from tennis and walking) and immense backaches. But oh well, I manage to get through the day with panadol (taken twice when I normally take only once). So all's good, trip was ok and interesting. It never ceases to amaze me at the sights of the world. :D

Then it was back to KL for 2 days before it was on to Cherating, Club Med. Spent 19-23 Dec at Cherating and I had heap loads of fun! Rain came but didn't dampen our moods! The beach, sun, sand, sea made up for everything. So many activities to do while we were there! Went kayaking 4 times in rough weather (drizzle and rain) and huge waves kept crashing on us. Laughing throughout the whole experience! Wanted to try sailing as well but the waves weren't in our favour. Oh well..

Was on the trapeze 5 times! I LOVE IT! The instructor said I had talent coz I managed to do all the tricks on my 1st try everytime I was taught. Being on the trapeze was an exhilarating moment and I simply couldn't bear to part from it! Swinging on the trapeze, doing stunts.. That feeling is jus too incredible! I'm missing the trapeze... :(

Played with the kids at Club Med. They are a fun bunch! Played basketball in the pool with them and we were splashing water on one another, laughing so hard! I miss those kids! Eeyore keeps saying I should be a kindergarten teacher coz I keep telling him how much I love the kids and how much I miss them. :(

Came back to KL today. Tried to salvage my hair that was spoilt by a lousy hairstylist in KL. Hopefully it can be fixed by tomorrow! Keeping my fingers crossed! :)

Til the next time I blog with pics when I'm back in Singapore, wishing everyone a Merry Xmas and a Happy 2010~! ^.^
