Pretty Face

Disgusted that some girls get jobs by looking pretty, know how to put tonnes of makeup on their faces, know how to whine and act sweet and pitiful or cute but are not that fantastic with their work.

She came for an interview. Main interviewer was a female. Main interviewer came out of the interview and the more senior guys started requesting to "interview" her as well. So the guys went in, saw her, found her pretty. After the whole thing, main interviewer asked for opinion. Guys obviously adore her to bits! Main interviewer commented "A girl need not know anything about her work, as long as she's pretty and knows how to doll up."

Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK??? If everyone thinks like that, I'm sure the company will collapse sooner or later!!!

And the more disgusting part is that after the interview, she came up to our floor almost every single day to suck up to the main interviewer and act sweet in front of the guys! *PUKES*

ARGH!!! Can't stand people who suck up and act pretty/sweet/cute in front of guys but treat other people like dirt! She showed me attitude but was damn sweet and nice to my ex-manager (guy of coz) when we asked the same thing! Gross to the max!

Office is not gonna be the same again.. I can only hope that when we have our restack (aka changing of seats) and when we move to the new office, pls pls do NOT let me sit anywhere near her or I'll jus die! Jus hope I don't see her much.. Bleah!!!!!!

Rumour

Went to a club at Clarke Quay last nite called Rumour with the regulars from Instinct. The club is kinda like Dragonfly but the music is not as good, the live band and singers were also not that good. The lead singer who is supposedly the most handsome has got a whiney voice when he sings. Shudders.. Think I still prefer DF anytime, any day. Reached home at 6 and slept at 6.30am.. Tiring.. I have been pubbing and clubbing 6 nites in a row.. Think I need to cut down and relax a bit. But, drinking is a form of relaxation coz I get to talk to friends and enjoy. :p Had a chat with Mingjie (another regular at Instinct) last nite. He truly impressed me by wooing the same girl for 7 years! He knew her 10 years ago, got together for 3 years, broke up and tried wooing her back for 7 years. It's truly fascinating. disappointed n jer's departure...
