When I Dream~

I've learnt that there are some people whom I should not waste my time and effort on arranging to meet. It never works out.. Dept lunch with Ed gor today, treat given by Lyn. Ate at Soup Restaurant and had Lo Hei. My 4th Lo hei for the year. :) Month end kept me busy from morning til exactly 6pm. Half an hour before I left office for the day. YAY!!!! So happy! Monday will be busy but in a good way. :p Rushed to Plaza Sing after work, rushed to Made with Love shop then dashed to Carrefour. Everywhere were long queues!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!! Just when I'm rushing for time! Then the MRT refused to come! My hands nearly broke from carrying all the bags of stuff. :( Finally arrived at Novena. Managed to spend a few moments with Eeyore before he went to board the bus there. My very 1st time sending Eeyore off.. I've picked him up at the airport before but not sending him off on a bus or at the airport. Felt a wave of sadness as the bus drove off.. All alone now.. Cabbed home, called Eey...

Some things I don't understand, but I shall not dwell. Chirpy today coz I've recovered! With some TLC from Eeyore.. Tugging at his shirt sleeve as I slept while he used his lappie to console his friend over msn. Having him carry me around the room without having to walk a single step. :) Dinner with Aunt Marg, Alvin & Philip at Ichiban Boshi @ Toa Payoh Central. My treat coz it was Philip's bday. He treated Alvin & I to lunches and dinners when we were in Shanghai. :D So today's my turn. Hehe. Eeyore and I have found a song for us. We are both stuck and listening to this song on repeat mode, so I've made it my blog song. :p I shall be disturbing him a lot tonite coz he's gonna go KL again tomorrow evening. :( Another 3 days without him.. Left office at 5.30pm today coz I wasn't feeling too good. Charlie gave the go-ahead coz he said he needed me for month end and he would rather I rest well today. Hahahaha. Slept in office during lunch, slept the moment I got into the cab, slept after I came home and showered. Yes, that's how tired I am. :( Stupid time of the month came.. Proof that I'm not preggie. Haha. But it seriously tired me out this time round. Sighz... It's nice to have Eeyore back! He's been taking care of me since he got home. :) Nice to lie in his arms, having him hug me and carry me around. The love and care that I feel and see.. I have to treasure these 2 days with him before he leaves for KL again on Friday. I'm gonna be a lonely gal again then..

Headache came!!! Took panadol, feeling more alive now. Sighz.. Why am I plagued with such stuff these 2 days?? Hmmz.. Played with Beth today while looking after gram. Pity I can't meet up with Leo today or to join Sid for martini happy hour. Beth can be quite sweet and cute at times. :) Took some pics with her. My cutesy princessy little niece. My aunts are really funny. Coz of the flu yesterday and the headache today, the weakness of my body system, they asked if I was pregnant! OMG!! Faint.. No, I am not pregnant and I will NOT have a shotgun marriage! Hahaha. Pls don't worry!! I think they just want me to get married.. Hahahaha. Just had a chat with SK di.. He's learning ballroom dancing and asked if I wanna join too. Hmmz.. Worth a thought and some consideration. :p Eeyore's on the way back!! But still at JB. Sighz.. Anyway, I think I might sleep before he's back coz I've jus recovered from my headache. :) Nitez!

A very sleepy and tiring day, coupled with more than 50 sneezes from 9pm til 10+pm simply made it 100 times worse. As I was playing mahjong with my family, I just kept sneezing endlessly, blowing my nose non-stop. ARGH!!! This is happening to me again! And Eeyore's still not back yet.. Sighz.. Met up with Sidney today for a short while together with Beth (my niece) & Sarah (his dog). Sarah's soooo cute!!! But she barked at us when she saw us so Beth became frightened. But before she went home, I asked if she wanted to play with Sarah again and she said yes. Hahaha. So cute! She kept sticking next to me and wanting me to feed her and play with her. She can be so fun at times! Webcam-ing with Eeyore now. Hehehe! And chatting with Sidney on cooking stuff. :p COOL! Think I'm gonna sleep pretty soon. Need more rest for my flu to recover.. Nitez~!

Happy Chinese New Year!!! Passed 12 midnight already so it's officially the 1st day of the Chinese New Year! But sadly, this year, I'm not allowed to celebrate. Coz daddy has passed away less than 1 year. :( Anyway, I'm missing Eeyore.. Especially since I'll be at Aunt's place for the next few days and he's not going with me. Sighz.. But.. My horrible bf is happily gambling that he has forgotten the existence of me. How sad... :_( Boring and I'm supposed to stay awake for superstitious reasons. So... Watching some not very nice HK drama now. Might sleep around 2am I think..

Friday (23 Jan 2009) A boring day at work with nothing to do. Dept had lunch together with the exception of Mahesh who had a talk with Lynette and boss. Back to office to have CCO walkaround, giving us ang paos and mandarin oranges. After which, I peeled the remaining 4 oranges for the dept to eat. I'm an auntie.. 4pm - I went to buy coffee and tea for the dept as all of us didn't have the afternoon cuppa. Being an auntie again.. Left office at 6pm. COOL! Home before 7.30pm. Prepared and got ready for our CNY gathering with the belles at my place. :) Anne & Rendy came 1st, followed by Jean and Dilun, then Stef & Sid and lastly, Von. We had satay, chicken wings, Lo Hei, Vodka, 2 bottles of wine - Moscato D'Asti & a peach wine bought from Turkey, a small bottle of champagne from Bimbadgen which I bought from the vineyard in Sydney, desserts made by Sid & Stef - orange meringue & roulade. Delicious desserts, fantastic company & lotsa fun!!! The mess...
